Bonjour Creme BruleeTorch Reviews and Feedback Provided by Users

- My buddy purchased this creme brulee torch as gift for my birthday and so far, I’m very pleased with it (and with my buddy too!). I love how easy it is to refill the butane and the flame it produces is very consistent not matter the level. The flame goes on quickly but you don’t have to wait long for the torch to cool down. It’s pretty comfortable to hold and has a really good weight to it. The price is unbelievably cheap so you can’t go wrong with this torch.

- Excellent torch for the price. It works like a dream and using it is no trouble at all. The safety lock is useful of course, but I sometimes forget to unlock it before pushing the go button. Anyway, the torch looks great and quite durable. The top housing is constructed of hard plastic and the button to set the torch is easily accessible. Refilling is easy and the torch actually comes with a stand which can be removed. I have no use for the stand however. The silver brush metal makes torch look very easy on the eyes. I use this regularly for caramelizing stuff. It’s handy to have on hand in the kitchen.

- This is not just a torch for crème brulee, you can actually use it for many things. In fact, I use it primarily for charring meat and vegetables like capsicum, and peppers. Using the thing is very easy and it helps that the torch actually has a hold function so you do not have to press down the button continuously. It also comes with a safety lock function so it’s not dangerous or anything. Remember to read the documentation before using. Yes, it’s easy to figure out how to use the thing, but that doesn’t mean you should skip the user guide altogether. It has some important stuff that you need to be aware of.

- This is my second culinary torch. The first one I bought was a cheap one that was less than 10 bucks. It died after a couple months of use. Now, I’ve had this Bonjour torch for creme brulee for about 6 or 7 months now and it seems to be holding up well. I really like the fact that it doesn’t drain too much fuel even after extended usage periods. I use the hold feature regularly. It keeps the flame going on without you having to push down the torch button. It’s a handy feature if you have a task that requires substantial torching. Reloading butane is simple enough and I love the look of the torch. Decent purchase all in all.
